He's Back

I'm back!! Not that you people care anyway because you have forsaken this blog due to inactivity. But yes, it has been nearly a year since my last login (I've never been consistent with blogging). Since this is my come back although not exactly blockbuster, I'm revamping the direction and flow of this place.

IT IS TIME TO BE MORE CURRENT!!!

Yes, which means that the entries here would narrate my weekly out and abouts on a regular basis. At this point one of my skeptics will say REGULAR MY ASS, but just you wait woman!! It would definitely be an effort to try and keep things interesting seeing that it has been a rather dry college break with occasional bursts of fun here and there.

Which reminds me, a few congratulations have been overdue and need to be conveyed.

ONE: Firstly, massive congratulations to Ke Xin on your overwhelmingly awesome results of 4A's (jaw drop). This will definitely secure you a place in Cardiff and I wish you nothing but the very best when you fly off in September for your final year.

TWO: Secondly, another big hurrah goes out to Ying Jun for her awesome results of 4A's AGAIN (why is it all girls only? WHY? Are we boys so stooopid?). You are not aware of this blog nor am I planning to publicize this fact you you hahahah!.

Strangely enough Koghelan has managed to stumble upon this blog by accident (screw you Google) when he apparently Googled his own name to see if any links would pop up and surely enough the first was this blog's. Anyways welcome to my blog and I hope I spoke well about you in previous write-ups. =x

That's it for now and more posts will be following up in the coming days so yes, this blog is once again ACTIVE! Do NOT unlink. =p

Lastly, I am not begging you people to continue reading this blog because I really couldn't be bothered but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF MY BLOG I PROMISE TO KEEP THINGS REGULAR HERE PLEEEEEEEEASE.
No I wasn't begging. =)

Coming soon.....
Figured this place out yet? More on this spot next! ;D

Strange Weather

"I cook lahh, no need to tapau from outside." - Ronnie

Hearing those words muttered by my brother made me go WTF?!! He's going to attempt to cook dinner?!!! o_O

Apparently after living in a hostel for about a year, he has mastered the ability to prepare simple food all by himself. So he reassured me that he was able to cook without blowing the house up to bits. As he started to get all the utensils ready, I couldn't help but feel skeptical about the entire deal so I followed him around.

He looked like he knew what he was doing so that sort of put my worries to rest, until he asked me how to turn on the gas supply. Nevermind that, a minor speed bump in his attempt to cook. Then, while the water was boiling, he suddenly shrieked when the wind picked up and put out the flame on the stove. Empty packets started flying around, the blinds were flapping in the strong breeze and the cooked noodles on the plate threatened to get cold by the time they reached the dining table.

Nonetheless, he eventually was done cooking and even fried eggs to go with the noodles. I know all these are darn simple dishes for many but for us guys, this IS epic okay? XD

It boiled over and poured onto the stove below.

Getting cold!

WTF??? MY MASTER IS COOKING??? THIS CANNOT BE!!!!

Some extras to go with the noodles. Whatever you call them...

Looks like he knows what he's doing huh? XD

In the end, I was really full because we overestimated what we could actually eat. But for those who are interested in how the noodles tasted like, my face twitched when I had my first mouthful because the noodles were a little too salty but Ron says the fault lies with the seasoning. =D

Guys FTW!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Baby's Sweet Sixteen

My princess finally turns 16 today, an age which is considered to be the pinnacle of teenage life. Yet she tells me that she doesn't like the idea of turning a year older. On the contrary dear, you are stepping into what could possibly be the most enjoyable year for you depending on how you see it! =)

For me, it was an awesome day well-spent over at her place, celebrating the occasion with the birthday girl herself as well as her family members. We played, we laughed, we talked over a splendid dinner by the lake and most of all, we had a good time. I consider myself very fortunate for being able to spend time with her on a day like this.

Until now, I'm still looking back at all the pictures and videos that we captured today, wishing for everything to start all over again so that I can relive that moment. Everything went past far too quickly for me, which reaffirms the saying that time really flies when you're having fun. The picture at the bottom is one that I took when we arrived at the lakeside restaurant for dinner. The setting was just perfect, a slightly breezy night with music playing by the lake. Did I mention that her parents are really nice people? Yeah they are! =D

To Baby Girl, I hope you'll like the present. Once again, HAPPY 16th BIRTHDAY dear!! (^_^)v

Ecstatic Me

HUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! I'M SIMPLY...ECSTATIC!!! =D

Erm erm...okay we'll take this on a more serious note and make a few acknowledgements.

Here goes...

1. A very BIG thank you to Baby Girl a.k.a. Carmen for her relentless support during the entire course of my studies right up until the exams (which I wouldn't be that motivated if it wasn't for you) =D

2. ArIgAtO to KeXin for your priceless help rendered for Tort and Contracts which has paid off well as you can see!! Bwahahahahahah!! =p

3. And not forgetting to thank my family and dogs for simply being there for me...

*laughs cynically and leaves the room*

Temporary Come Back

It's still not easy for me to sit down and blog away like I used to due to the laziness to scoop out my thoughts. My motivation to blog today stems from threats to unlink me if I don't post anything by today. (the person responsible for threatening me must be smiling just by reading this.)

Anyway, the above title suggests a temporary rebirth of my flare for blogging as well as my involvement in the sound business. Since resuming my studies I didn't have time to run the works in the event arena so I guess you can say that me and my bro pulled out of the industry. We weren't running events for the past year and eventually the drive to continue faded away. Besides, I was tired of lugging the big-ass speakers around and it's tedious to source out labour to do it. (By the way I pay 80 per worker bucks a day, so anybody wants to work?) XD

Trust me, Ron and I won't risk our lives trying to carry the speakers because they are THAT big and you'll probably be killed if you got pinned underneath. =)

But this time around, we have to get everything back together for a one-off event for my father's friend. It's not easy to rope back all my sound gear as the equipment is scattered all around the house. I took a couple of days since Monday to locate stuff that we'll need and pack them for tomorrow and after much effort, some items like cables are still missing!! Arrghh...

Apparently all this is for an elderly man's birthday bash that his kids organised for him. But really, they have a darn low budget for the sound so I'm not going to bring my big boys out this time. AND, they are already paying me less than one thousand, yet that auntie who called my dad is requesting for all sorts of equipment to accommodate their slide show. Understand this: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR AUNTIE!!!

I'm only doing this because the venue is the badminton hall just behind my house and we're dead bored at home. I have a feeling that I will get frustrated when they start singing on stage...
Elderly people almost always get excited when they hear the word "karaoke" and I expect them to crowd around the desk and ask about the song selection. Honestly it's extremely irritating to entertain their requests. The only part I really enjoy is when I get to go bonkers with the volume after setting up in the empty hall. I MIGHT EVEN SING BY MYSELF!! >=D

There...I'm done blogging! Happy now? XD

Its been a while

Like the title suggests, I've ceased blogging for ages and Ke Xin was pestering me to put something on this dusty page. =p

I didn't have much to blog about since getting into college hence the lengthy hiatus. Does that imply that I've become hardworking? Hahahahaha! Facebook thinks otherwise. XD

On the surface, a lot has been going on lately and certain issues aren't meant to be put into words here and are best kept in the depths of my screwed-up brain. Generally studies have become increasingly hectic owing to the ongoing finals and the pressure of having to do well. Now where did that come from? I do not know myself! Hahahahaha! (Yes I don't know what else to say besides laughing at the end of each paragraph.)

But recently there was an epic incident at college. At the nearby parking lot to be more precise. We had just went through an entire day of revision lectures and pretty worn at the end of it. After that I walked alone for about 5 minutes to the nearby car park which now charges FOUR bucks instead of THREE (blood-sucking assholes!!). It was still pretty packed and I found my car in the middle of the lot parked next to a dead tree stump (duhh that was where I parked it. where else would I find the car huh? Its silly I know!)

Being so tired and not bothered to remove the fallen leaves from the car hood (they would be blown off as I drove later anyway and that looks pretty darn cool.) I just unlocked the car, opened the driver's door, hurled my bag onto the other seat and finally stuck my own butt onto the seat. As I locked the door and started the car, I noticed a white piece of paper stuck to the windshield wiper on the outside. At first I thought it was another lame massage parlour advertisement (its lame because if you pay them enough they will massage odd parts of your body).

But it couldn't be. It was hand-written with a marker pen and I thought it seemed peculiar (a massage parlour painstakingly writing each and every ad by hand?!) but a cold shiver ran down my spine when I tried to read it from inside the car. The sunlight was gleaming onto the piece of paper so I roughly made out the words that appeared to spell "KILL" and that freaked me out. I thought getting out of the car was a bad idea if it was really a death threat (too many horror flicks) but I unlocked the door and got out anyway. I looked around the area where my car was parked...it didn't seem like there was anybody around. Then I walked to the car's front and slowly unclipped the piece of paper from the wiper. The sound of the crickets around made the situation worse. I slowly unfolded it and saw its contents.... (look below)

THIS: LIM KE XIN'S WORK!!
Immediately after that, I smiled to myself and felt so damn relieved. But this playful prank lightened what seemed like an exhausting day at college. I chuckled to myself, put the 'death threat' on the back seat and drove home. Hahahahahaha!!! Thanks for that Ke Xin =p

Wave Two

Some poeple just dont know how to quit it and just keep getting lamer. Now, that irritating beatboxing sumo is too humiliated to say anything else and has delegated that job to one of his miserable relatives. Come on idiot, I can see that the surname is still ONG!!! Stewpid~ :D
